The Basics

A full arch, four to six implants

All-on-X uses a small number of strategically placed implants — typically four to six — to support a full, fixed arch of replacement teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, this arch doesn't come out, doesn't shift, and doesn't rely on adhesive. For many patients, the temporary arch can be placed the same day as surgery, so you leave with a functional, fixed set of teeth rather than a healing gap.

Common Questions

Teeth in a Day FAQ

How is Teeth in a Day different from regular implants?

Traditional implants typically replace one tooth per implant. Teeth in a Day (All-on-X) uses just four to six implants to support an entire fixed arch, making full-mouth restoration more efficient for patients missing most or all of their teeth.

Will I really leave with teeth the same day?

Most candidates receive a fixed temporary arch the same day as surgery, so you're not left without teeth during healing. Your final, permanent arch is placed once healing is complete.

How is this different from traditional dentures?

Unlike removable dentures, a Teeth in a Day arch is fixed in place — it doesn't come out, shift, or rely on adhesive, and it functions much closer to natural teeth.

Does Teeth in a Day hurt?

No, it does not hurt — the procedure is done under anesthesia, with sedation options available for additional comfort. Some post-surgical soreness during healing is normal.
