Why It's Different

When one fix isn't the answer

A single crown or filling solves a single problem. Full mouth rehabilitation is different. It's for patients whose bite itself has been compromised, whether from years of teeth grinding, multiple missing teeth, old dental work breaking down, or trauma. Rather than treating each issue separately, we plan the whole mouth as one system: how your teeth meet, how your jaw functions, and how everything works together, then build a coordinated plan across whatever combination of implants, crowns, veneers, and restorative work gets you there. Dr. Victoria Nguyen, who is Pankey Institute trained, leads this approach, bringing a comprehensive, whole-mouth philosophy to every case.

01

Worn or collapsed bite

Years of grinding or clenching can wear teeth down and reduce your bite's natural height, affecting jaw comfort and appearance.

02

Multiple missing or failing teeth

When several teeth need replacing or rebuilding at once, treating them as one coordinated plan gets better, longer-lasting results than one-off fixes.

03

Comprehensive treatment planning

Treatment is planned around your natural bite and jaw function first. Not just how individual teeth look.

This approach comes directly from Dr. Nguyen's training through The Pankey Institute, a respected center for advanced dental education built around what they call "Complete Dentistry", treating the whole bite and patient, not just the tooth in front of you.

What It Can Involve

A plan built from the right combination

Bite & Jaw Assessment

Evaluating how your teeth and jaw function together before any treatment begins.

Implants & Restorations

Replacing missing teeth and rebuilding damaged ones as part of one coordinated plan. Learn more about implants →

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers

Rebuilding strength, shape, and appearance across multiple teeth as one unified result.

What to Expect

Recovery, phase by phase

Because each plan draws from a different combination of procedures, your day-of and recovery expectations follow whichever treatments are involved. We'll walk through exactly what to expect at each phase before you start. See our full treatment guide → for any individual procedure in your plan.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation FAQ

If your issues are limited to one or two teeth, a single crown, filling, or implant is usually enough. Full mouth rehab is for cases involving your bite itself, or multiple teeth needing coordinated treatment. We'll assess this during a comprehensive exam.

Because it's a coordinated plan across multiple treatments, timelines vary widely by case. Anywhere from a few months to a year or more. We'll map out a realistic timeline before starting.

Most commonly yes, but it can also apply to patients with a collapsed bite from grinding, even without extensive tooth loss. The bite itself is what's being restored, not just individual teeth.

Yes. This includes prescribed medications, but also any recreational or non-prescribed drug use. Certain substances can seriously affect how your body responds to local anesthesia. We will never judge you for disclosing this. This practice was built around patient safety first, and what you tell us stays confidential.
